The Roop is a Lithuanian pop-rock band from Vilnius. It consists of singer and keyboardist Vaidotas Valiukevičius, drummer Robertas Baranauskas and guitarist Mantas Banišauskas. They were supposed to represent Lithuania at ESC 2020 in Rotterdam, which had to be cancelled on 03/18/20 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, they were able to take first place in the replacement event hosted by the First German Television.
